Principle of Injection Molding Process:

The main purpose of brass inserts is to be injection molded into plastic parts, forming an effective internal thread after installation. The process involves heating the insert and pressing it into the plastic part or directly using mold injection. Due to brass's excellent thermal conductivity, heating the insert before pressing it into the plastic base allows the product to heat up quickly, improving efficiency. The heated insert also rapidly transfers heat to the plastic part, softening the area around the hole and facilitating insertion. In mold injection, after the brass insert is hot-injected into the plastic part, the knurled outer diameter creates friction and interlocking force, securing it firmly in place and preventing detachment.
